When developing the various analysis methods outlined in the Research section, each pipeline was optimized using a variety of software packages.  Doing so ensures a robust analysis pipeline which achieves highly repeatable results and leverages the strengths of each individual software package.  One of my interests is creating fully automated image processing pipelines which remove human bias in tasks such as drawing regions of interest.  These pipelines take advantage of advances in hardware such as GPU and CPU parallel computing.  As a result, I have become very proficient is several software packages and programming languages.
