Since 2008 I have researched structural and functional changes in a variety of neurodegenerative disease and neurological disorders using magnetic resonance imaging.  In addition, I have also examined motor function in healthy controls.  I have published several of these findings in high impact journals with collaborators at Northwestern University, University of Illinois at Chicago, Rush University, Midwestern University, University of Florida at Gainesville, University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania State University, University of Minnesota and K.U. Leuven.

Since joining the Department of Radiology in 2017, I have supported a variety of projects ranging from Stroke to use of Phospholipid Intervention in Cognitive Aging with collaborators at Northwestern University, John Hopkins University, Boston University, Swinburne University (Australia), University of California-Irvine, and University of California-Davis
